We do not collect or store personal information such as:

• Phone number
• Precise location

Some features of the app require an account. In those cases, limited account information is collected as described below.

2. User Accounts and Authentication

The app allows you to create an account using email-based authentication provided by Supabase Auth.

Account Data

When you create an account, the following data may be processed via Supabase on our behalf:

• Email address (used for authentication)
• A unique user identifier generated by Supabase
• Saved games and user preferences
• Authentication session data (managed securely by Supabase)

We do not store passwords. Authentication is handled securely by Supabase.

One-Time Password (OTP) Emails

Login is handled using email-based One-Time Passwords (OTP). These emails are sent using Resend. We do not use your email for marketing purposes.

Data Providers

• Supabase — provides authentication and stores user account data (e.g. saved games, preferences)
• Resend — used solely to send OTP authentication emails

These services act as data processors and handle your data according to their own privacy policies.

3. Automatically Collected Data

While we do not collect data directly, third-party services may process device-level information to support functionality, diagnostics, and analytics.

Services Used

• Firebase Crashlytics — crash logs, device model, OS version (used for debugging and stability)
• Firebase Remote Config — app configuration and feature flags (no personal data)
• Firebase Analytics — aggregated usage data such as screen views and session duration (only enabled with consent in UK/EU)
• Google AdMob — advertising identifiers and ad interaction data (based on consent choices)
• IGDB API (Twitch/Amazon) — retrieves public video game information only

4. Affiliate Links

Some links may be affiliate links (e.g. Amazon). If you make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We do not receive any personal purchase data.

5. Ads and Marketing

The app uses Google AdMob to display ads. Your ad experience is controlled by consent choices via Google UMP.

6. In-App Purchases

Optional purchases (such as removing ads) are handled securely by Google Play. We do not collect payment details.

7. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

This includes your Supabase account and associated data such as saved games and preferences.

8. Children’s Privacy

The app is not specifically designed for children under 13, but may be used by general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Account data (such as saved games) is retained while your account is active. Some diagnostic or analytics data may be retained by third-party providers for limited periods.

For users in the UK and EU, we comply with UK GDPR and EU GDPR where applicable.

Legal bases for processing include:

• Performance of a contract (account functionality)
• Legitimate interest (app stability and crash reporting)
• Consent (analytics and advertising)

Consent for analytics and advertising is managed via Google UMP.
