You can use the app fully without creating an account or providing any personal details.

2. Automatically Collected Data

While we do not collect data ourselves, the app uses third-party services that may automatically process device-level information to support functionality, diagnostics, analytics, or advertising. Some of these services require consent depending on your region, while others are essential and do not require consent.

Services Used

• Firebase Crashlytics — Collects crash logs, device model, OS version, and technical data needed to diagnose crashes and errors. This data is essential for maintaining the app and is covered by legitimate interest.
• Firebase Remote Config — Lets us change certain app settings remotely (such as feature flags). It does not collect personal data and is covered by legitimate interest.
• Firebase Analytics — Provides aggregated insights about how the app is used (for example, screen views and session duration). We do not use Firebase Analytics for advertising or profiling. In regions such as the UK/EU, Firebase Analytics is only activated after you have given consent through the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP).
• Google AdMob — Displays advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the Advertising ID), coarse location, and ad interaction data depending on your consent choices. AdMob behaviour (personalised / non-personalised / limited ads) is fully controlled by your choices in the UMP consent prompt.
• IGDB API (Twitch/Amazon) — Used only to retrieve public video game information such as titles, cover images, and release dates. No device information is sent to IGDB.

All data processed by third-party services is handled according to their own privacy policies. We do not have access to any information that directly identifies you.

3. Affiliate Links

Some links in the app may be affiliate links (e.g., Amazon). If you make a purchase through one of these links, we may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. We do not receive any personal information about your purchase.

4. Game Content and Age Appropriateness

The app is suitable for general audiences but may display information about video games containing mature themes. These details are sourced from IGDB.

5. Ads and Marketing

The app displays advertisements using Google AdMob. Your ad experience depends on the preferences you set in the Google UMP consent dialog.

Ad Behaviour Based on Consent

• Personalised Ads — If you grant consent, Google may use your device’s advertising ID, inferred interests, and coarse location to show more relevant ads.
• Non-Personalised Ads — If you decline personalised ads, Google will show ads without behavioural targeting. These ads may still use cookies or device identifiers unless you opt into limited ads.
• Limited Ads — If you do not grant consent for storage/access of identifiers (primarily in UK/EU), Google will serve “limited ads,” which use no tracking technologies.

We do not collect or access any advertising identifiers ourselves. All consent decisions are handled by Google UMP.

If you prefer an ad-free experience, you can remove ads via an in-app purchase.

6. In-App Purchases

Optional in-app purchases (such as removing ads) are processed securely by Google Play. We do not collect or store any payment information—only the status of your purchase.

7. Children’s Privacy

The app is not specifically designed for children under 13, but it can be used by all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from any user.
